Angela Baldwin

Angela has an Honours Degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo and operates her own land use planning consulting business in Barrie. She was the former Director of Planning for ClubLink Corporation and is a Registered Professional Planner and a member of the Ontario Professional Planning Institute.

Angela has been the Chair of the Barrie Film Festival Board of Directors since 2016 and a member of the board since 2013.   Prior to that she was the chair of Theatre by the Bay for 6 years. She is the co-chair of the Capital Campaign committee for Redwood park communities affordable housing project, an active member of the Maycourt Club of Barrie and on the steering committee for Barrie Ambassadors, a business led group established to encourage economic investment in the community. She is a member of Ripples of Kindness and Gals that Give – two local organizations that fundraise for local charities.   She has been on the organizing committee for Barrie Toy Tea for 9 years – this  event has raised over $120K for Simcoe Family Connexions and Gildas Club.  Her community contributions led to her being awarded the Ann Hogarth Leading Women Award in 2017, Barrie Arts Award Contribution to the Community 2018, Chamber of Commerce Women in Business Heart and Soul Award, 2019 and Barrie Rotary Club Volunteer of the Year, 2019. Angela currently Chairs the Grants Committee of the Foundation. Angela also sits on the Communications Committee.
