Grants

Grants

Grants are payments to organizations that maintain and sustain a healthy and thriving community.

The Barrie Community Foundation has issued grants amounting to hundreds of thousands of dollars to support local community organizations.  Grants originate from three sources: one, endowment funds set up by individuals who want to help support their community now and forever. The second source of grant funding is through the endowment funds that community charities have established themselves to financially sustain themselves over the long run. The third source of grant funding is through government iniatives established to help communities in trying times.

The Foundation is everlasting. Grants made are as well.
