Tom Oldershaw is a member of the Order of the Spirit Catcher and has founded the Oldershaw Making the Difference Endowment Fund. Tom’s objective in setting up the fund is to raise $ 1,000,000 over ten years. The funds mandate is to provide funding to help provide hope and improved conditions for those individuals and families experiencing homelessness or at the risk of being homeless. Tom will be completing his first fundraising event on September 3rd where he will be completing a 500km 48 hour, rail trail ride; this will be completed at the age of 74.
The goal is to raise $1,000,000.00 by 2026 through a variety of events including the MTDRide2016.
