There once was a young girl, K’Leigh Cundall, who would walk to the Barrie Public Library with her red wagon to cart her treasured books home. K’Leigh’s dream from that very young age to adulthood was to have a library of her own. Shortly before graduating from the University of Ottawa, at the age of 21, K’Leigh was forcefully taken from her promise for a bright future, her family, her friends, and her dreams.
K’Leigh’s family has started the K’Leigh Cundall Children’s Library Endowment Fund, so K’Leigh’s dream of a library can live on. Each gift to the endowment fund will forever benefit the Barrie Children’s Library, growing “K’Leigh’s Library”.
K’Leigh’s fund will ensure that there will always be a place for a child to cart their red wagon and find the treasure of books.
